Eau Claire Golf and Country Club is recruiting applicants for a full-time, salaried Equipment Technician position. This position will work with the course superintendent and assistant superintendents to provide outstanding course conditions and awesome member experience. Eau Claire Golf and Country Club was founded in 1901 and has a long history hosting state tournaments and high end private amenities. With spectacular views through the Chippewa River valley, ECGCC continues to be one of the premier private clubs in Northern Wisconsin.

-Work on newer model equipment that has already been well maintained. We have a regular equipment purchase plan that keeps equipment up to date.
-Newer Foley grinders that have been well maintained and virtually automatic. Most of the off-season grinding duties will be managed by directing staff on grinding practices.
-Assistance from the grounds staff during the off-season on repairs and service work.
-Large, well-lit shop with 2 post equipment lift allows for technician to safely and comfortably maintain the underbody of large equipment.
-Adequate equipment repair budget prevents long downtimes and frustration
-Most tools are supplied, plus sufficient tool budget for any specialty tools required.
-This position will be replacing a seasoned mechanic that is willing to assist with any issues that may arise during transition.
-Properly maintain all golf course related maintenance equipment to prevent equipment downtime.
-Scheduling equipment maintenance such as quality and height of cut.
-Assist in training staff on how to properly operate equipment.
-Maintain a regularly updated 50 car electric Club Car fleet.
-Assist grounds staff occasionally with basic handyman tasks.
-Maintain a through record keeping log of each piece of equipment.
-1-3 years of job-related mechanical experience
-Experience with small engine, gas, and diesel engine repair
-Valid driver’s license
Start Date of October 29th, 2018
Salary Range: $40,000+ determined by experience
