Somerby Golf Club is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. Somerby Golf Club is a growing private club and real estate development that was established in 2004. Somerby hosted the PGA Nationwide Tour in 2006 and 2007, and is located 10 miles west of Rochester, MN. Somerby Golf Club is privately owned by Ames Construction and professionally managed by OB Sports Golf Management.  All levels of experience encouraged to apply.  Ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organization qualities.  The responsibilities associated with this position will fully prepare you to be a golf course superintendent. Responsibilities:

Management of staff operations; scheduling, training, hiring/firing, payroll                                                      

Communicate with other managers at the facility

Supervision of fertilizer applications and cultural practices

Participation in all aspects of golf course management

Snow removal and maintain outdoor winter sports facilities

Salary:

$68,000-72,000 DOE
