Waseca Lakeside Club is now accepting applications for the position of Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Waseca Lakeside Club is a semi private / daily fee, 18 hole golf course and swimming pool, in Waseca Minnesota. We are located on Clear Lake with views of the lake from several holes and the clubhouse. With only a few houses visible from the course, golfers at Lakeside enjoy a fairly secluded, private experience.  The Assistant Superintendent position is an hourly, 8 month (April – November) position with flexible hours and days off.

Duties

• ·         Supervision, task scheduling and training of the crew
• ·         Pesticide and fertilizer applications
• ·         Assist the Superintendent with pool duties (training on site)
• ·         Oversee daily maintenance and course set up. Learn to recognize and report changes in course conditions
• ·         Irrigation system maintenance and repair

Requirements

• ·         Must obtain Minnesota Pesticide Applicator license within 60 days of hire
• ·         Golf course experience preferred
• ·         High School diploma or equivalent
• ·         Must have valid driver’s license

Benefits/Compensation

• ·         $15-$20 per hour
• ·         April – November
• ·         Very Flexible days off
• ·         Part time or Full time available
