The Landscape Operations (S4) Manager executes daily Division operations including planning, forecasting, and delivery of top-quality client and personnel experiences. Recruit and manage the advancement of Division personnel. S4 stands for Single Source Stewardship Solutions and is different from any other landscape management company in the area, we focus on science and experience or checklists and the calendar. Requirements
- · Minimum of 5 years in the landscaping/green industry
- · Have an associates degree or equivalent experience (preferably in the green industry)
- · Possess a valid driver’s license
- · Possess computer skill with the Microsoft office suite and ability to learn CRM software.
- · Spanish speaking is preferred but not required.
- · Ability to represent the division and company in a courteous and professional manner
Duties and Accountabilities
- · Management of S4 department personnel including all daily duties
- · Manage and work with service department and other subcontractors and vendors
- · Project proposals, sales, execution and invoicing
- · Promote positively the philosophies and practices of S4 services
- · Participate in planning and management of snow removal services. Required to work overnight/weekends/holidays as needed based on timing of snow events
- · Daily scheduling/logistics strategies
- · Participate in estimating/proposals with sales team
- · Lead management of division inventory
- · Lead management of IBD office landscape management
- · Additional duties as required
Knowledge and Skill
- · Self-starting, Positive outlook, Detailed oriented, Rigorous
- · Desire to interact with clients in a professional, patient and courteous manner
- · Knowledge of irrigation system maintenance, repair and construction techniques
- · Ability to read and understand irrigation and landscape design plans
- · Advanced knowledge of basic equipment maintenance, repair and operation
- · Good knowledge, education and skill in management of the urban outdoor environment
- · Desire to embrace and use technology
- · Proficient with common workplace and field tools and software
- · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- · Knowledge of safety practices
- · Licenses and certifications as required
Supervisory Responsibility
- · Crew leaders and Project Foreman report directly to this position
Salary Range and Benefits
$65,240 - $82,560 DOQ DOE
